Originally from Bulgaria, I first moved to the US in 2000 to obtain my undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia (but I still help out Hookie clients!). After graduation, it was hard saying goodbye to UVa, so I did conference planning for the school until 2005.
Eventually, I moved back to Bulgaria and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers. My real-estate career started in 2006, working for a developer on the Black Sea coast. Selling beach resort properties was fun, but I felt a strange urge to get more education, so in 2009 I enrolled at the MBA program at Manchester Business School in the UK.
After graduation, I moved back to the US. In 2012, I began leasing furnished rental properties (also known as corporate housing) in the DC area. Nostalgia quickly crept in, however, so I returned to a full-time realtor position in early 2013 and never looked back.
I specialize in working with first-time homebuyers. I enjoy educating them about the market, contract process and property condition analysis. Yes, I like hearing myself talk sometimes 🙂 I also help relocation and investor clients.
Thanks for checking out my blog. I hope it’s useful for your real-estate search.
